“A book for the serious student of
military history . . . The author must be congratulated for his
meticulous research and attention to detail, which must make
this a reference book for this particular campaign”

'An excellent and highly detailed account
of the organisation and operation of all the German contingents
that fought under Napoleon that year. We will look back upon
this book as a model of research and presentation'

“Fascinating and excellent . . . well
written, an easy and entertaining read, packed with good solid
information. If you haven't got a copy, buy one, if you can't
